Theodora Pavlovitch




Theodora Pavlovitch is a Professor in choral conducting at the Bulgarian National Academy of Music and conductor of the Vassil Arnaoudov Sofia Chamber Choir. The choir is one of the most famous Bulgarian choirs, a winner of 21 first and special awards at International competitions and a holder of the ‘Golden Lyre’ - the highest Bulgarian award for music.  In 2005 Theodora Pavlovitch  founded  a professional Mixed Choir with the Classic FM Radio.


She  is a regular jury member at a number of international choral competitions and a lecturer at different music events. She was invited to lead a masterclass in conducting at the 7th World Symposium on Choral Music in Kyoto, 2005.

In 2008 she conducted a session of the World Youth Choir , honoured by UNESCO with the title Artist for Peace, recognizing the WYC's success as a platform for intercultural dialogue through music.

T. Pavlovitch is a Vice President of the International Federation of Choral Music (IFCM) .
